Avalowa 2022

A blend of four single variety barrels; two Cornish bittersharps, Dufflin and Colloggett Pippin and two Devon varieties, Sweet Alford and Tremlett’s Bitter. The apples were handpicked from unsprayed orchards in a small valley on a tributary of the Fowey estuary in Cornwall.

This is a bottle conditioned cider, fermented and aged in ex oak wine barrels for 11 months.We get notes of grapefruit and melon underpinned with a slate minerality.

A dry cider that goes beautifully with food, particularly seafood. Can also be enjoyed as an aperitif.   

Full juice wild fermented dry cider, no added sulphites, serve chilled, 7.5% abv, 750ml

Salla 2022

The apples in Salla have been handpicked from trees over 100 years old growing alongside a tidal creek of the Fowey. These old bittersharp Cornish varieties produce a cider with beautiful salinity, perhaps a combination of the proximity of the creek and the depth of the roots to the mineral bedrock. 

After spending 11 months in oak barrels we've blended in some Tremlett's Bitter handpicked from a neighbouring orchard.

This creates a complex cider with notes of juicy preserved lemons. Delicious with rich fatty dishes.
